    The Office Thread

I was wondering if I show my BF this photo if he'll buy me a desk when we move in together?? LOL...please excuse my vampire attire and horrible posture! :blush2:

Figured I couldn't be the only one with a unique office set up? Show us where you work your magic!

I use the bed too, but I have to share with the cat.
No photos of me working upstairs, but one of Tess "helping" in her own way.

Paul that cat looks very angry. In fact, the look on that cat's face makes me glad I have a dog.

Why does this make me think of the movie Constantine, the scene where Keanu Reeves stares into the cat's eyes, and it helps transport him to the Gates of Hell???

Even as a diehard cat lover, I have always felt there is a sinister quality to these creatures, something lying just under the surface.

My cat used to just sit and watch me sometimes. At one point I became convinced he was an Alien sent here to take notes...

Don't you think he'd be upset (let sleeping dogs lie) if he's just been woken from a nice nap by being flashed at on his bed?

Heck no!! My dog is a bit....ummm....there's really no way to put it nicely. She's a big dork. If she were a child, she'd ride the short bus. And I say that with love and affection. And any attention is good attention, especially if there's the slight chance of food being involved.

    Re: The Office Thread

At this time of year, in my office it is normally a balmy 26-30C with air conditioned breezes of about 8-12 knots ... gusting to 21+ knots.

... but my office is currently under blizzardish cold winds gusting to a life threatening 65 freezing knots with snow down to 1000m ... so I get to have the day off work again today. I went to work this morning after having a few days off because of extremely bad weather and my boss said, "Have another day off Mate here are the predicted wind speeds to 65knots." Who argues with their boss?

The temperature here is currently a few degrees C with a wind chill factor of -5.6C only one week from summer. I'm not a global freezing skeptic after experiencing this past week.

My current office looks something like the inside a computer with wires and vectran, dyneema and spectra macrame to play with.

Sometimes the view from my office can be very exciting when trying to keep clear of the bigger offices.

I'm very pleased not to be at work today. I would probably drown or suffer from hyperthermia if I was. My current office is very nice and slippery ... but always wet. My day job is to keep the spashing waves of my boss who I call 'Skipper' and my office computer is called Magellan.
