    Lightsphere

Any one ever used a Lightsphere or the Lightsphere II Photojournalist. I am looking for a some type of flash diffuser for portraits and weddings. I have a Westcott Micro Apollo and it is okay for portraits but it doesn't stay on my flash very well if I am moving around alot.

Looks like an interesting device! Although I'm sure one of those translucient plastic cups could be shapped to do a similar job...

Works great! Nice and cheap, too. I think the pj one might be more convienent for fitting in your bag, but I've used the regular one. And once you wedge it one, it stays. Let me find a photo...

    found one...

The only downside for me is the small catchlights. But when I posted my tests in the lighting forum, there was some helpful info for ps-ing catchlights.

Nice photo, very cute kid It seems to give very soft even light. I think I might order the new clear one and give it a try. Thanks for taking the time to find a photo to post.

    Re: Lightsphere

Anyone else have any success with this overly price bit of plastic? After shooting some shots in a large room with no option to bounce my flash I thought I might give it a shot.

    Stina,

Did ya end up getting one?

    Adina,

    Still using yours?

Anyone else? Their website they sure make them out to be the end all for doing quick portraits.

and here I thought I was being all clever making sure to use the search tools in the first place. This grasshopper needs to learn how to search better.

    Thanks Adina!

(p.s did you get the clear or the cloudy?)
