    Finally back on line...

I've been off the web since 12/22. Seems we had a family of rodents living in the attic and one decided to chew on my DSL cable and screw up one wire. It took until today to fix all of the assorted problems with rodents in your cieling and finding the short someplace in the line.

I hope that everyone had a safe and wonderful holiday!!!!

    Michael,

I can empathize with your problem. We just rid ourselves of two rats up in our attic. Rats have been up there before in the past and did damage to our heating duct, which is why we have to rely on electric floor heaters until we can get the money to repair the ducts. I don't know yet what damage this pair of rats have done, however. We got rid of one rat by poison and the other by a rat trap with peanut butter as the bait.

That's one way to get away from it all, Sylver!
The good news this christmas is that you'll be able to relax when we get back to school. I'll be letting up on the Colorblind jokes!
The other good news is that I still ahve enough money to get an SB600 and a 50mm f/1.8 af prime for lowlights, and then have plenty of extra for a 512 ultra II and start saving for the bad news....
The bad news is that I decided to hold off on getting a tele lens. As it grew later in the night, I became resolved not to get the 70-300 AF or the ED version.
which means now i've stuck myself on getting an 80-200 f/2.8.....there goes the birthday money....
