What do you all think of Photoreflect.com? Having done Event Photography for many years, I am looking to get more sales from my shoots. This site will allow me to post pictures in a gallary so that event goers can view them and place an order right online.

There is no fee to join, set up a site, or monthly hosting fees for each event. Only fee they charge is 15% of each sale. The price is a bit high, but when you consider they don't charge for anything else, that is good.

What do you all think? Does anyone currently use Photoreflect? Do you all use any other sites?

    Frederick,

I have used it and have a link on it from my site - www.photosbyjw.com. It is under the Your Photos section. I have been really happy with the site. It makes it easy for people to look and pick and the order process is smooth on the backend as well as on the front end. I saw this site on Sebastien's website, so he could probably give you some feedback as well!

I use them, no complaints except for their reports, they are useless. The servers sometimes work, most of the time don't It's not too big of a deal, it's just reports for how many visitors/viewers you've had, and how much they bought, if anything.

This company should not be allowed to do business. Their uploader Photoreflect Publisher OS X is flawed and will wipe out a whole month of uploads in one action. It also will back track to the originals and reconfigure the original images. I have had 2 uploads wiped after 7 hours of uploading the first time and 24 hours of uploading the second.
The first images took the originals on my harddrive and reduced 7.4 mgb files to 16 kb icons. My dilemma is the images are from a national event with over 10000 images to be posted for the organization. When called it is like trying to get through to the President. Every delaying technique is used. Once reached their response is we know the software is flawed and are working to bring out a new one. When asked why a disclaimor wouldn't be on the site for this no answer only we know it is a problem. This company is reprehensible.
It is an example of the issues our country deals with. To use them is to put your business in the hands of people who have shown that they are only concerned with making money with no concern for what they may do to jeopardize your business. I am forced to complete this project with them because of the 3000 people who were given this site as the place to find their images. I hope others will come forward and share their horror stories. I know of one in northern Missouri which is worse than what I have described.
