    Re: Photographers with glasses!

Well after a full day of shooting some MTB action, I shot the entire day with my glasses on. It felt natural & I didn't have any problems adjusting to them.

I'll be starting a thread about that probably tomorow

My vision is so bad, I can't do a thing without corrective lenses. I shoot with my contact lenses, though... leave the glasses at home. The glasses either get scratched or smudged anyway! I really want to get LASIK...

I can't even make it out of bed without my glasses. Deckcadet will tell you that when the kids in my classes want to get spaced, they put on my trifocals and take a spin in my office chair. Its good for a non drug spacing.

My wife and I were quite the blind pair. She wore glasses from grade school and her vision deteriorated so bad that she couldn't wear glasses anymore (too thick and too heavy in those days) and had to wear contacts only. After about 20 years of wearing contacts, her eyes could no longer take wearing those. She was considered legally blind and my vision was about 20/200. She had the more time-consuming epi-lasik (which takes about a week of recovery per eye) whereas I had the more traditional procedure which meant I could literally see straight off the chair.

    We've been 20/20 since. It's a miracle I tell you!

Don't forget...even WITH your glasses, you still can't find your other pair of glasses!

I keep 'em on. DE-3 prism works well.

Worn glasses since I was about 6 and no problems with the camera. The only time I had an issue is getting something out of the oven, after a shower, or the Palm house in Kew Gardens, I think Paul (SW) posted a photo of that occasion.
