A spider?? Is this something you found wandering around your house or is an exotic spider? I'd like a picture of that one...

Our Cat Gracie
Gracie has been kind enough to sit still for a few seconds here and there while I tried out my new flash (SB800). Here she is with her "mini-me" toy.

It's a chilean rose-haired tarantulas. I got it in a pet store but I have fed her spiders I found around the house.
She just a regular old tarantula. I'll post a picture here later, she's tucked away in her underground burrow right now.

Brian,
Great shot. I really like it. The b&w is well suited to that shot.

Thanks Scooter, still trying to learn that new flash. It's a blast playing with that thing off camera wirelessly.

This is a great shot! Your flash is looking good! And so is Gracie - beautiful cat.
My Jeremy loves to pose (see below), but Molly is bored and won't look at the camera. When I'm shooting Jeremy, Molly just sits there like "good grief, no again."

Thanks Liz!! You have some great shots and beautiful cats there yourself.
Here's my long haired German Shepherd "puppy" (well, 2 1/2 year old, 85lb puppy), Zoe.

Let's see, two dogs, two ferrets, a cat, a hampster, and an iguana. We call it Dawn's Zoo, since she does most of the maintainance (feeding, watering, changing litter) for them.

Hey yourself! Thanks for noticing...
I finally wore the spouse down and have now got my hands on a Canon 20D. What fun to have an SLR again (nothing against my AE1 but manual focus and I can't keep up with kids...) I'm all inspired to get out and shoot again. So far I've just been playing and figuring out how to use the thing and haven't got much to post, but I'm working on it.
