Our own Liz, "Miss Sister 2008"???

    From the net wires:

"An Italian priest and theologian said Sunday he is organizing an online beauty pageant for nuns to give them more visibility within the Catholic Church and to fight the stereotype that they are all old and dour..."

Here are more details on what's being called "Miss Sister 2008":

So ok, Liz. What do we need to do to make sure you win this???? :23:

A ballot-box stuffing awaits you. Oh, and if you want to set up a photo shoot, just say the word...

I stand ready and able to stuff the box for Liz. Not a more gracious or committed member of the PR community than Liz. She was an active member when I joined and has always been one of the leaders on this site.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Steve - how on earth do you find these interesting articles?

I appreciate all of your great comments. However, I am respectfully declining this rare opportunity to enter a beauty contest. I just returned from a week away - and surprise!

Actually I have great idea............why don't we have one of those 24 hour photo ops - and make it a contest? I'd much prefer entering a photo in a photo contest than a "beauty" contest.......

I appreciate the thought though, Steve!

Well, I'm guessing that nun of them wanted to get into the habit of such an un-convent-ional event.
