New Lensbaby! Bad pictures, cool effect

Got my Lensbaby on Thursday and have been playing with it ever since. It's "easy" to use but very hard to master. I'm mostly having trouble focusing correctly, especially on moving objects, because you have to actually be compressing the lens while following the subject, and your focal spot is within a cube of space that you have to find visually. But I think this thing has a lot of possibilities, especially for not very active motion shots.

Here's one, not very good but I'm still practicing.

I think P-J has created a monster here by introducing us to this contraption. Fun shots, Kelly. I think I'll pass on getting one of those things, though. :-)

The more I look at these I think I should take the bottom two out.

I think I'll go edit the post, and let only the first shot speak.

Cool effect Kelly. Where was this shot taken? It looks like it could be Boebel Hall at UW-Platteville.

Nope, it's the Courtyard at UW-Washington County.
