Smile Too cool! PR in National Geographic book!

Yesterday while doing some Christmas shopping I picked up a copy of "The Ultimate Field Guide To Photography," by National Geographic for myself. This morning I was thumbing through the book while drinking my coffee before work and when I turned to page 11 I see Photographyreview.com listed as a place on the net to research camera gear! Isn't that cool!!!? I think it is anyway

So far... it's a great book for someone at my level. I would really recommend it to anyone just getting into photography, I'm not sure how useful it would be for advanced photographers.

I still think it's super cool to have a publication that is respected all over the world drop your name NG is partially responsible for my interest in photography.

That is a great book with a great wealth of useful information. I think it's excellent that PR was noted in there. I have the Second Edition of this field guide and have not found a mention to PR in this one. What edition is yours?

Sorry Gary, I just saw your reply. I'm guessing that it's the first edition. They also have field guides for photographing Action Adventure (with a picture of a mountain biker on the cover for you people ), Digital Black & White, People & Portraits, Travel, Birds, and Landscapes I need to order the Birds and Landscapes books

I often wonder why there aren't individual forums for Black & White, People & Portraits, Travel, and Landscapes..... oh and Abstract, Still, and City here at PR?
