Here are a few of the images I record on my late afternoon walkabout in the neighborhood on April Fools Day. I had lots of flowers and blooms also maybe I can get to them in another post.

I had a lot more, but I grabbed the wrong ones to upload last night! I do have a few to share, unfortunately they are the boring ones. Oh well...

Re: 6:01AM - 12:00PM Images
okay, I'm having technical problems. Since getting my new camera and installing software, my Photoshop completely crashes and quits. The images are gobbling up hard drive space on my laptop so I can't download many from the card, and the only program I currently have to upload and convert to internet size is ImageBrowser, which I've obviously used too low of settings to get any decent quality out of. I am going to halt uploading until I have time to convert better jpegs for sharing, which means setting up the upstairs desktop computer to be my Official Photo Station. But now I'm off to the eye doctor. Til later ....

Had a few friends over for dinner. Made turkey sloppy joes, then we moved our sofa and love seat out to our carport because we were getting a new sofa the next morning.

Morning, stopped off at the storage place to pick up a few things, and then off to a new project - renovation of a fitness center at a yacht club in Pompano Beach. It was a beautiful day out, but we were stuck in the basement, really would have rathered going out on the water.

By afternoon, all the demolition is done. As some of you know, Pompano Beach is home to the GoodYear Blimp, so I swung by the airpark to see if it was out. Hiding in the Hangar, but did get a few nice private plane shots...

Once home I made my usual evening walk to Publix shopping center to pick out something for dinner. The park across the street from where I live was hopping! Folks playing tennis, guys enjoying a pick-up soccer match, and families enjoying the newly installed playground equipment. Less than half a block away, life more somber, but supermarket romance seems to be alive and well :)

In my neck of the woods those are calla lilies not Easter lilies.

Nope, a 1965 Fiat Ghia 1500 GT. It needs an engine rebuild and restoration -- the fence blew down on it a year or two and crumpled the fender.
My parents have an interesting collection of autos in the yard in addition to the Ghia:
1972 International Scout II -- Could run if gaskets replaced and battery installed
1976 or 78 Fiat X19 -- blown engine
196- Saab 96 -- Could run with tune up
The rest all see regular use:
1987 Mazda RX-7
1980 Toyota Pickup
1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee
2003 -- Mazda Millenia
2002 -- Ford F250 CrewCab 4x4

Uncanny similarity in the noses, but it all ends there!
