On the Gulf Coast in Mississippi we have had several oak trees torn up pretty bad after the Hurricanes and most would just remove the remaining trunk that is left after the main part of the tree is torn off but we don't. Down here on the coast we try and keep the spirit of the tree alive by leaving it an carving it into a sculpture. There are many of these along the Mississippi Coast but this is the only one that was painted instead of leaving it natural wood. Jeff
