    Not enough coffee in Java.....
....to make me wanna try this again, without changing my methods, clothes, etc.
Being an active guest,at a family wedding,(where you do not understand the customs)
Jammin' my point n shoot into an evening purse.....
AND try to get shots off....kneeling on my tight,full-length beaded (OUCH ) dress.....
Learned a lot, mostly what NOT to do,-all kudos to the REAL shooters,Egi and crew, who generously shared their space.

    2-The couple,during a formal session,I was looking for a lees stiff shot...

    3-Flower Fairy.

4-DO NOT sit down in Traditional Java gear...

    5-Father of the Groom...

I like them all...nice stuff and love to see other cultures.
I understand about not wanting to kneel or sit in those beaded clothes but I'm not sure what #4 is?
    Love the fifth one.

Hi Susaan, It seems you managed to get some very good shots with your little Sony.:p
I like the first image, the cute little girl (3), and especially the guy that looks like he's chimping shots on a small camera in the last image. :D

    Thanks,guys,
-Actually,it was mostly luck,,Starriderrick, but maybe developing some reflexes-,first shots always seem to be the best, for me,I tend to over-think,if i hesitate.

    No.4 is the ritual knife,a Kris,(*wavy dagger') famous in these parts,often poisoned,when
used seriously..we have a few examples at home, presents from Bugis friends in Makassar.

Good stuff, Susaan! Thanks for sharing. That's not the kind of event those of us in North America get to see every day! I like the second image the most, although I wish it was cropped so tightly on the left.

Me,too, but things were breaking up at that moment.....removed my nutty bro. from the frame.
(I was just jumping in and out when the formal shooters were adjusting light, etc,to pick up the crumbs,as it were...)
Left the crazy guy in this one...
