    NON BIRD IMAGE from yesterday

While out birding , I stopped at blue chip farms to check out the cute foals in the foal barn to check the new arrivals.... no camera aloud though

    http://www.bluechipfarms.com/about/

I was aloud to shoot ANY horse outside the barns though

This is one that I just edited quickly for my friend.

    Paul,

I'm suprised! No birds But a great shot nonetheless, very well done! Always neat to see offspring of any animal!

    Well done,

    Jared

Very nice composition. The softness of the background works well. Soft enough to not be distracting but enough information to add to the scene. On my screen it looks like it might be punched up, saturation I guess, just slightly. And if they had wings they could fly.

My girls really like this one Paul. Nice shot.

So does this mean we are going to be seeing more from you now that it's warming up?

and btw, when you said a non-bird image, I almost expect a butt in leather pants to go with penny's

I'll bet there's at least a crow somewhere in those trees. ;)

Nice shot, Paul. I'm not sure about adding saturation - that looks good where it is. The background looks a little hazy, and it's a cool effect. Of course, it may have/probably did look kind of like this in real life!

Re: NON BIRD IMAGE from yesterday

Those are the adjustments I already did.. NO MAS is right ;)

This image was shot(full frame) at 400mm F9 to get the soft BG , some may say I need less DOF or lots more though? It was VERY hot that day(high 90's) and very humid. The sun had gone behind some thin clouds around noon, so I shot away ;)

Almo... lessen the contrast on that file bro!

So are we going to see any of these foals winning the Triple Crown in three years? Are these racehorses? (since there's no pictures allowed inside the barn, it sounds like a professional setup.)
