Nikon Wide Angle Lens 4 Family Outdoor Portraits????
Hi I am in need of a recommendation for a good (but not super expensive) lens to take "family outdoor" portraits. I currently have 2 good portrait lenses which I love but find they are better suited for one subject portraits. I have Nikon 105 AIS lens, and also just got a Nikon 85mm 1.8. So, do I need a wide angle lens to accomodate multiple subects???? Is that what is normally used in this type of situation? Anyhow, price range I would like to spend $250---300 max??? Also something that could double for landscape scenes as well would be nice? What do you all recommend????

    My thoughts...
Since you have the 85mm and 105mm, I would seriously consider the 50mm f1.8. It's a great lens, it's super sharp and VERY inexpensive ($100 to $150 new). If you want wider than that, look for something in the 24mm to 35mm range. If it were me though, I'd get the 50mm.

    Hope this helps!
