Just a quick snap (she was sitting by the window) to try out the new lens.

I tried to upload the full image so you could check out the fine details but the site won't let me for some reason.

Here is a link to the full image on flickr. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2368/...7427e9d0_o.jpg

Yep I agree, love those eyes. I'm going to get the 50 back out and do something in window light. Just wish I had the abundance of beautiful models you do.

Amazingly beautiful shot,Old Timer, you just gave me the key to shooting my Auntie,
(Around the same age,and still gorgeous, like your wife.)
Was going to put her in light rose pink, her fav. color, but seeing this, think I will try white first.
    Thank you !

I know that I commented on the blue bride before and I love it but that first one is just gorgeous. Love those eyes and that beautifully lighted hair. Awesome as usual.

My son groans loudly, whenever I uncover my lens..
    but his "Friendster" account benefits.....
These are taken by the light at the windows of outdoor rooms,
    first,a gazeebo,down the road.
second,a restaurant in the hills above Bogor,Java.

Very nice susaan. My children were the same way but now that they have children of their own they are always after me for picture of the little ones and they even want updated ones of themselves. Times and attitudes do change. Keep snapping away at those kids.

Got my Rolleiflex back from being CLA'd yesterday. I was stuck at work though and eager to try it out, so I grabbed this little stuffed animal left that some child had left behind and decided to play with some window light.

Aaron I love that one. The only thing I'd suggest is to darken it a bit, the bear looks abandoned, and I think darker tones would suit it a bit better.

    Love it!

Re: A New Window Light Thread

Thanks adina I might try printing it this week and if I do, I'll play around with printing it a little darker. This was just a neg scan that was given a slight crop and a touch of vignetting.

Some more window light fun. This time a dried flower study. In hindsight probably should have used a filter to give more separation of flower and stem but, oh well.
