I'm no good at self portraits at all.
I've not shot a portrait of anyone else for that matter !

What do you mean "thankfully short-lived"? I find this picture to be bold and eye catching. I guess that it is somewhat creepy due to the lack of legs but this is creepy in a good way as far as I am concerned.

I'd like to see more shots from your strange period, really.

    thanks for sharing

    Re: New Self Portrait thread

I thought the reflection of the curtains particularly was attractive.
Then I realised that I couldn't escape being in the shot, I hid behind the table
The bed is empty because my wife is having a shower while I "get ready" to go back to the Zolder 24 hours.
Which means more motorsport photos soon

    Beautiful lady...

    Hi Adina,
I've always enjoyed your self-pics and the images of your girls...beauty runs in the family, obviously. Since I've been away for so long, here's one of me that isn't too, too old. Been a long time since I've posted anything here, hope it loads, and too bad it's my ugly mug. :-)

I always look better overexposed and tightly cropped than in real life---I like my eyes and mouth and that's the jist of it
my contribution from a few days ago(a week maybe) working on new ones just need more inspiration/time ---You're beautiful as always Miss Adina ;)

Adina, So that IS your eye in your avatar. Am I right? Good pic. Quite the opposite of freakish.

I just found this thread. It's neat seeing what everyone looks like after reading so many of your posts. It's like reading the book and then seeing the movie...except it's not a movie...and I don't really read books...

Anyway. I'll dig this thread up again after I do a self-portrait. I've been wanting an excuse to destroy some perfectly good film.

Hey, good to be here. I'm hanging in there, not much photographaphy happening in my life right now, but I still enjoy popping on here once in awhile.
