    new lens soon to arrive

I've been needing a wide-angle lens for the longest time now and today it will arrive! I ordered the Sigma 18-50mm f/3.5-5.6 DC lens. Would love to have the f/2.8 version but I just don't have the money for that one. This one will have to do for now, but on the same token I've been using the slower and less expensive 28-80mm & 70-300mm Sigma lenses for over a year now and I've had good results from them so far, so I'm expecting about the same quality with this new lens. I'm really hoping tonight we'll get some clouds with the sunset so I can give this new lens a whirl!

Re: new lens soon to arrive

You get more out of those Sigma lens than anyone I know. I have the Sigma 70-300 that I use with the N80, but never get the quality images you seem to get on a regular basis. I'm sure that the new lens will net you the same results.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
