new lens

I finally succumbed ... second hand though, not new.
Three samples f/2.8, f/13, f/2.8 (sorry I didn't crop the first two identically)
I can say the IS definitely works at 1/40 sec hand held :)

Next on the shopping list is a 500mm

Love that cream color on that car and glad you got a lens with a variety of f/stops but like another view asks, "what did you get"?

my guess is 300 2.8?

Very Cool! I just recently got a new lens myself, the Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 Macro. So far I'm not disappointed with it. However it's getting it's exploration baptism this weekend.
