New Here

Hello PR. I am new to the forum thing, but not new to photography. I have used a 35MM Cannon for years and purchased a Nikon D50 about a year and a half ago. I am not a pro by no means, and don't even call myself very good. I am told, from time to time, I can take good photos. But even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. I don't have a lot of time as I work 2 full time jobs. But I do enjoy the time that I do have to spend with my Nikon.

Welcome to PR, Bakerman35. There are members of this site who are professional photogs, most who are experienced enthusiasts, and all like you who love to spend as much time with theirs cameras as our schedules allow.
As far as these forums go, they are a great learning tool. Somewhat like being in a local photography club where you share ideas, photos and give and get critique and feedback on your works. If you have questions regarding equipment, technique, software, or even just feel like kicking back and discussing world news topics there is a place in this site for any of the above.
Also, from my experience here this is one of the friendliest and most helpful Photography sites on the Web.
