    New camera ... new outlook

I got to take my new Nikon D60 out for a shoot today.
Here are a few photos I took. They are only cropped and not shopped.

I went to the "Trail of Honor" today where there are various areas honoring the
men and women who fought in wars from the French and Indian War through
    current operations in the Gulf.

Beverage refreshments from the Civil War era.

Closeup of part of a canon.

The other end of the canon.

A Black Dragon parachutist who jumped from a helocopter.

The helocopter (from which the Black Dragon team jumped) coming in for a landing.

So far, I'm very impressed with the D60 and its "cheap kit lens".

    Any comments would be appreciated.

I've heard time and time again that the Nikon digital kit lenses were a few steps above the usual kit lens. You are just adding more proof to that point.

    Nice shots Dave.
