Pretty girl, and you've done well with the variety of poses and expressions. The new background looks good with the warm lighting. Nice work, Andy.

Beautiful shots and beautiful girl. The background works well with the mood and type of dress. The ones on your page are just great, she's so natural looking and I like poses that look comfortable..these do. The only one that is a little problem is the one that you did in black and white with selective color in the rose. I love that style and do it myself and this one is very well done, but the forshortening in her arm that's holding the pose bothers me a tiny bit. Let's put it this way, I noticed it. Great shoot.

Yikes, I just realized this isn't photo critique. Sorry. Well, I might as well tell you what I'm thinking now. That background is beautiful but the total black looks beautiful too. I'm sure you don't want to use it all the time, but it so works in these.

Thanks, Charles - I've known the model for about 5 years now (work together). I've always told her she should model, but she's never pursued it.

I was surprised how nice the background did turn out. Again, thanks.

Kit - don't worry about this not being the critique section. I'm pretty thick-skinned so keep it coming.

As to the foreshortening of the arm - you're right. This model's arms did the strangest things when she planted weight on them or she pointed straight at me. Her elbows bend slightly backward and make the arm look really freaky.

The rose and skirt pics are hysterical - I had her rip those roses apart and throw them at the camera. It kinda fit the idea of a "punk" style I was going for. I'll have to put together a series and show you all what I mean.

    Again - thanks.

Thanks Michael - she was happy as hell, and a bit in disbelief. Why is it that pretty girls rarely have a clue as to how pretty they are? This one (like others) said, "You made me look really hot." - And I was kinda like - ummm...that's what I see all the time. There's only so much you can do with a camera.

I really like your lighting. It's very flattering and she just glows.
