provides some wonderful photo ops...camera was set on macro and B/W mode --it had just rained so I was thrilled to get the beautiful water droplets... they were mostly my focus--the beautiful flowers were a bonus.

they're a bit blurry ( I unsharp masked and adjusted the levels) they were handheld at 1/20th at about 7pm... I think they turned out well

How can you be so steady? I'm impressed! I love the second one... the water drops add a beautiful effect. Nice work! :)

NIce idea to put these in b&w. They look pretty sharp to me, and I like the tight compositions. Good work.

    Purdy!
I like the middle one best.

Hope your neighbors don't catch you snoopin in their backyard!

    Easy. It's:
    do-dum-do-dum-do-dum-da-da-do-dum
    (cue second instrument)
    then it's:

    Okay, okay, I yield :)

These are pretty Natalie... your neighbors yard does seem to provide good photo opps... *smile* Is this a case of "the grass is always greener on the other side"?
I agree with everyone else... black and white was a good way to go and for hand holding them they turned out fairly sharp.

    Hi Nat,

These are great! My favorite is the succulent (#2), and I agree that b/w has added a nice distinction to the photos. Good work!

should be a good indication of my results. I was laying on the ground(sidewalk) and trying to brace the camera as best as I could......

I couldn't find where I put my tripod so couldn't pass up the opportunity....

Very nice work, Nat. I really like the light on the third one. I think the B/W choice was a good one.

    You are just not well!
I freaked out when I read your title---I thought something was wrong lol

EVERYONE does flowers in color--- try it you'll like it.

You notice more of the details than you would if you were just shooting for the color.

    :p

I liked to look at textures and color would have detracted from the drops IMHO
    Glad you enjoyed them :)

without BW it would be hard to appreciate the colors--- it was a service of sorts I pwas trying to perform  ;)

What ever gives you that idea? :-O

Didn't mean to freak you out. Just having some fun. ;-)

You are right - EVERYONE does flowers in color, so the B&W was a nice change.

BTW, keep that "you're not well" thing to yourself. I don't want anyone else to know!
