Going on a weekend small bus trip to northern Mexico. Check out

Baja Trek - Hot Springs Blast

Have to bring our own tent, sleeping bag, etc. Therefore, won't have space for full camera gear.

What should I definitely bring?
What type of pix should I look for there? Need some creative ideas! They will have hot springs, desert(ish) landscape, small towns, etc. I want to connect to the locals in the town in the pix.
