I think it snowed a bit last night...

Not so great shots from the doorway or through the window...

Across the street got some really bad drifts

Yes it did! I spent all morning clearing driveways and sidewalks. I'm a bit tired now but it sure is pretty, once all the work is done.

We're still working on digging out our cars. Mine is almost free.

I got some funny pics of Yorkie dogs in the snow. The younger one was hounding my mom about going for a walk, so my mom figured she'd show her why it was a bad idea.

I wish I was able to get some more shots before the plows and the shoveling started.

Maybe you just didn't care, but those are all a bit dark. The only reason I mention it is we have a new snow photography photo tips article

Thanks Jeff. My wife likes that one too. I got up to the farm and had to turn around. The road vanished into a snow drift.

Yours are much better than mine... a few more from once I actually got out of the house.

Peterson Ave, a busy street... just not today.

Somewhere under this snow is an alley

My neighbors kids playing in the snow

My grandma's yorkie dogs were hounding my mom about going out for her walk. My mom decided to show them why it was a bad idea.

    Doggies!

I love those doggy photos! Did they have fun in the snow or was it too much for them?

Too much. They're southerners (my grandma lived in Arkansas with them till last year), they don't like this snow stuff

Re: I think it snowed a bit last night...

We have not had any snow here in Portland OR for a few years. It snows then melts the next day or sooner. I remember the snow when I was in grade school, we had at least 1-3 snow days a year, but there has not been any real winter for years.

I should wish for snow there are too many who do not know haw to drive in it and it will take me hours to get home due to the traffic jams (on the bus) and it's only 5 miles!

It would be nice to have some snow just to watch events like this link:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMzei...eature=related

I like yours a little better Cara. They're family type shots and it's nice seeing that every now and then! The dog shots are incredible.

We haven't gotten much snow here in S. Cali in the nearby mountains. It's been mostly dry in Jan and Feb. I sort of miss the precipitation.
