    Need camera bag suggestions
    Hello all,
I'm looking to buy a new camera bag. I'd like to get a backpack style bag for both my camera and my laptop. I have a Digital Rebel with a couple of lenses. I want a bag that can comfortably fit the Rebel, a hopefully expanding lense collection and, my Dell 8600 and also have some good padding to protect them. Like always I'm on a strict budget. I can't spend more than $200 tops. I would much appreciate some suggestions. Thank you for your help yet again PR people.

The Crumpler Puppet backpack can carry an slr and at least a couple of lenses, flash, and your laptop.

I personally carry a LowePro Stealth 600 AW shoulder case. I can carry one or two laptops depending on the size of the laptop, one DSLR body the size of the 1D series or Nikon's DX/DH series, and one long zoom (70-200 f2.8), one short zoom (28-70 f2.8), flash, 2 extra batteries, and 2 small primes, and spare CF cards, card reader, and external hard drive if I leave out the second laptop. I don't think they make this model anymore, but I think the Stealth 650 AW has replaced it. Here's another B&H link.

    Just my two bits.
    Happy hunting

Can someone tell me what the deal is with the crumpler bags? I keep hearing about them but a browse of their web-site doesn't reveal any obvious advantages over other bags. I'd like to learn more about them.

the only advatage I can see is.... they don't look like a camera bag :)

I can spot a camera bag from 1000 ft, I have never seen a crumpler amoung them though.

    Have I ever seen a crumpler? I DON'T KNOW :)

I got brian's hot tub, it doesn't look like a camera bag :)
But I can get in the D20, 3 lenses, flash, laptop, and stuff.
The outside is a pretty normal blue - the inside, wee for yourself !
