Mike, I hope you got your ride in today. A couple friends and I made a short 130 mile loop to the Janesville Crackerbarrell for breakfast and then backroads in the southern Kettle Moraine this morning and managed to dodge the rain.

Steve, I'll take a shot on Tuesday of my roadtrip setup prior to heading for North Carolina on the other bike. This was an overnight with one pack for clothes/camera bag, one for computer/cpap, a couple extra helmets because I wasn't sure which one my friend would need to wear, and saddle bags with tools and rain gear.

Megan, I'm often told to go there by friends but most don't give such explicit directions.

Do tell us what kind of bike that is. It reminds me of my old Yamaha Maxim.

It's a Kawasaki Vulcan 800A. I've had about 43000 miles of pure enjoyment on it with no problems that I didn't cause myself.
