    My very first abstract...
I think! We were at SeaWorld Orlando today... we saw a great "Cirque De Soleil" type program there, and this was part of the stage setup. I think it's pretty interesting, even if it might not be an abstract. ;)

It's a little abstract! You can call it a "detail" if you don't think it's abstract. Neat shot, either way.

I agree it's a little abstract, and a neat image. Good eye looking out for the out-of-ordinary kind of stuff!

Thanks everyone for your encouragement! I'm trying to be more creative in the things that I photograph... and this definitely caught my eye. I'm also trying to learn how to find the "picture within the picture", because I tend to see things on a grand scale- and that won't fit in my viewfinder. :D Thanks again for the compliments! :)

    Hey Kristin,

I think it's abstractish... and i really like it. It's very interesting and probably one of my favorite "abstracts". I specifically like the lights... they look like they are just floating.

Pretty cool shot, but try it diagonal too next time. No reason the camera has to be level, vertical, horizontal, etc. Just something to think about, but good work.

Thanks all for the kind words. My summer photography class got cancelled, so it's up to me to work on my technique- and I really appreciate all the feedback! Thanks a bunch! :)
