    I'm sure you will both be very happy with this lens. I know I am. When you get it, post some images in the Ultra Wide Angle thread I just started.

    Hey Ken, the Pentax 16 - 50/2.8 is actually the Tokina of the same specs in Pentax clothes. The Tokina versions just don't have any type of HSM built in, you need to have a camera that has a built in focus motor for AF. All users of Nikon D40's and the D60 will be out of luck.

    I agree! I did check out the above thread.......makes me look forward even more to getting the Tokina next week - and joining in the thread.
