The photo on the home page was taken by your's truly. If you go to the photo's page, six of the ten shots there were also taken by me. :-)

Re: My Brother's Band Has Their Website Up
Nice photos and its nice to see them up on a site, congrats on your noteriety (sp?) aswell..
Now probably wont be liked very much for this but I have to toss in my 2 cents of web experience that you can pass on to this bad. First the one column site with spanning text all the way across isn't the friendliest to reading text online. I would suggest a two column site with either a 33,66 or 40,60 split. Makes for easier reading and allows them to highlight two items at the same time to the viewer. Also would suggest going to a non italic version of their font. Its hard enough to read pixel text, italics just add to the problem.
Have them duplicate the navigation along the top in a text format along the bottom, a footer of sorts. Search engines like text links. Also have them add ALT tags to the images used for the navigation along the top to help with the search engines.
With regards to naming pages, instead of photos.cfm for the photos page, name it 'settle_acoustic_photos.cfm' , once again a search engine tactic to help them. And Finaly if you are not sick of my babbling on and on, META TAG for KEYWORDS and DESCRIPTION for each page do help.
I do want to mention that inspite of my babbling I like the colors, design and flow of the concept of the site and the above is just some suggestions for them.
cheers.

Thank you for the comments Axle. I'll be sure to pass them along to my brother and his fellow band members. One of the wives built the site. She also sings in the band. I'm sure they will all appreciate the kind words.

Thanks for your comments Paul. I must admit, that I know practically nothing about building a website, so your comments are beyond my understanding. However, I'll be sure to pass them along to the band, so they can take them under advisement. I'm sure the lady who built the site will know exactly what you're talking about.
Glad you liked the site.
