Checked it out on Wednesday night for the first time. I must have it. Key differences between the new camera and the old 1D are the 8 megapixel CMOS sensor, improved autofocus (didn't even think that was possible), zoom capability when reviewing images, and 8.5 frames-per-second capture rate. To tell you the truth, I wish it wasn't so good. I don't want to have to buy a new camera.

And even though the new Canon definitely kicks booty, the Nikon D2H is really nice, too. It's got a truly wondrous LCD and it's a very nice feeling camera. There's also a new digital SLR from Kodak and Konica Minolta finally anounced that they have a digital SLR on the way.
