Isn't light awesome? This shot makes me feel really good. I love the color/reflection - just beautiful.

It makes me feel good because sometimes I see beautiful reflections at sunset, but I never deem the scene worthy to shoot and post it. Thanks for posting it - because it is awesome even though there isn't some beautiful lake in the background. ;)

It's a skylight, shared between my room and the one next to me. The boxy thing is a light that's mounted up there.

    That's interesting...
My studio/workstation is in a fairly dark room (when not lit with my daylight balanced fluorescents) of the house, and sometimes in the late afternoon I leave the lights off and just work off the computer monitor screens.

If it's clear day, about this time a few golden strands of lights enter from an extreme angle of a side window from the setting sun and paint the most delightfully delicate illumination on small areas of my office.

I never get tired of looking at the shapes and shadows that this light creates in the short time that it does it...

I guess you could call me an "anti-sunset" kind of guy. I have no interest in photographing one. I'd much rather turn my back on it and marvel at the way it paints light on everything else... ;)
