Yes, a group of us from the local camera club went with Chicago Photo Safari.

There is an area along the front with the sponsor tents that they use to take the group photos of the sponsored groups. We were in this area and could move right up to the 'rope' whenever they were not taking group photos (which was 90% of the time). We were right in front of Thunderbird #2 on the flight line. It was great.
