A modern Narnia?

The lamp in the wasteland.
Replaced today with a LP Sodium bulb instead of a gas lamp, and railings for health and safety on the dangerous slope ...

Now all we need is a witch in a sleigh so it would be 'always winter, but never Christmas'.

I saw that on the way out, and when I found the lamp and the trees - it all came to mind.
I would be tempted to get an old wardrobe and use it as a frame ...
