    Meeting and shooting with OT
It was a honor to meet and go out shooting with Old Timer this past weekend! We were able to get out Friday night and head out to Devou Park in Northern Kentucky. On the drive up we were discussing my not being able to get out on the 4th of July to shoot some fireworks this year due to working, when we got to the park there were fireworks being shot off over the Ohio River by All American field where the Reds play. OT handed me his tripod and said go for it!
    Larry, Thank you!

You did my tri pod proud Jimmy. It was a real treat to have an opportunity to meet Jimmy and even do a late evening shoot with him. I think he scarfed me on the fire works but I'll post a couple of mine when I get home this evening.

We talk all the time about gatherings and get togethers but it happens very seldom. I was pleased that with Jimmy coming to my part of PR county that I was able to meet up with him and spend some quality time getting to know another PR member. I encourage all our members to take the opportunities that come your way to meet other members and have a good time with photography. It will only make the site stronger and I guarantee you will get a lot out of it.

It's always great to meet people on the other side of their avatars. Those are some really nice fireworks images, Jimmy.

OK here are a few of mine from our night time shoot over looking Cincinnati OH. Jimmy got me on the fire works so I'm just post one and then a few nighttime cityscapes with Great American Ball Park and Paul Brown Stadium were the Bengals play in the foreground. Hope you enjoy Jimmy and I sure had a ball. If you get a chance to meet another PR member don't pass it up, we got some great people here folks.

I love it when PhotographyREVIEW.com members get to meet in person! I haven't forgotten that you're coming here soon, Jimmy! I will take a look at my schedule again. If nothing else, maybe we can have dinner together. But it might be fun to shoot some Neck Car!

Nice city scapes, OT. Did you have to wrestle Jimmy to get your tripod back?

LOL!! No, I think we worked it out pretty well. We both got a crack at the tri-pod. I hadn't done any night work in sometime and it was a lot fun. When I suggested that we try something like this Jimmy jumped right on it. Glad he was willing to go back out after working all day.

It was a fun shoot! OT you got me on the city scapes. If I get to go next year you bet I will come better prepared. What I find interesting as we were shooting about 6 feet away from each other it is what the individual sees compared to the other shooter.

That's always one of the fun things about a photo gathering. I love going ona shoot with a bunch of photographers and then seeing all the different results after. More gatherings!

I didn't realize it was just next week. Glad to know. I am pretty close to the airport. So meeting won't be a problem. It's just a matter of when and how :)

Well thank you Julie. You and Jimmy aren't that far apart, you owe it to yourself to get to know a great PR member.

Jetta we are less than an hour apart from each other, one of these days! Frog you too!
    Adina, Thank you.
It's pretty cool when 2 folks get together and meet and hit it off like life long friends. Good time!
On the way home tonight thinking...... smaller tripod that fits into my suitcase or a bigger suitcase? Suit case is cheaper, and I am usually 15 #s short of wieght limit:-)
