Paul, love that shot with the cars in the lot. We just had a huge snowfall here in the city and I was working all through the night during the fall. I had wanted to grab my gear early in the morning and catch ome fresh virgin snow scenes but i was knocked out. . .

I like that parking lot photo, Paul :)

We've got another one headed in to Salt Lake tonight. I don't think I've taken any actual storm photos this year so I'll make an effort to get some and add to this thread :)

This has been the most difficult trip to the UK for Christmas ever:

Saturday: All EUROSTAR train services from Paris to London cancelled
Sunday morning: Set out by car and turned back after 30 miles due to heavy snow north of Paris
Sunday 6pm: Realise there is an 18 hour break in the weather which is just enough to do the trip.

I left immediately, easy trip with perfect driving conditions and got in at 12am. Now watching TV news tales of "gridlock" in Basingstoke..

Got home about an hour ago.
Thanks to a senior manager who decided we weren't allowed to go home when it started snowing.
Car is abandoned in the office, it's cost me 1/2 a week's diesel just to get home on the train, and will cost me more than that to go back peak time tomorrow. Oh and it took 2 1/2 hours.

Not yet, spend most of last evening pushing cars up hills, people in the UK really don't know how to drive in these conditions:mad2: . A friend of my daughters took 6 hours to travel 3 miles from work to home.

Some children in the close started building an igloo

Glad you made it ok. Thanks for the text message, but you missed out on the chicken stir fry, mulled wine, and mince pies.

Igloos are cooool. I used to build them with my firends when it snowed heavy and we would hide out in them like a club house.
Hey, lots of people here don't drive too well in the snow either. . .or any day for that matter.
