Sony/Minolta - way more gear than talent.
If I remember correctly, the original wings did have a manual adjustment so they could be flat on the straights and give down force in the curves. I thought that your photo might be one set for the straights. Problem was they kept falling off. Later rules restricted their height (lower than your photo) and disallowed any moving parts for aerodynamics. - TF

Which has now come back into F1, the front wings can be moved by the driver no more than 6 times per lap. So you adjust downforce for the slower corners.
