    Grandson's Dedication Service

    Hi all

This morning was my new grandson's dedication service (the baptist equivalent of Christening). Being a minister I had the privilege of conducting it myself. A friend from my camera club did the photos (used here with permission).

First, my wife with Henry and the proud parents.

    Second, my daughter with Henry.

Third, Henry and parents waiting for the service to begin.

Finally, me with Henry ... he has my good looks don't you think?

    Cheers
    Mike

Congratulations on raising a fine family and being a good grandfather.
I hope he has not only inherited your good looks but your wisdom, grace, and hopefully your eye for photos.

Wow, Henry has gown since I last saw a photo. Congratulation, that is one beautiful family. Thanks for sharing this wonderful occasion with us.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Re: Grandson's Dedication Service

Thanks everyone Henry was so incredibly good all day long - not a squawk out of him! It was as though he knew it was an important occasion. We then went on from the church to have a nice family lunch at a pleasant country pub. It was a great day all round.

Also, I passed onto the photographer the fact that you thought he'd done a good job. I keep nagging him to have a look at this forum - one day I might succeed!

    Cheers
