    Marley S. Fuzzlebutt

AKA Marley-Boo, Boo-Bear, and just plain Marley.

Haven't been around much lately - work, classes, the usual. I also moved, so now I'm only 5 minutes from work (yay!), but now I have a mortgage (boo!).

And about 3 months ago, I adopted this beautiful Bernese Mountain Dog puppy from a guy who does large breed rescue in PA. Totally worth the 6 hours round trip to pick her up.

Hope everyone here is doing well and I hope I have a little more time to spend around here - I missed you guys!

    Great name...

    Good looking pooch.

And W.C. Fields would love the name:

"Marley S. Fuzzlebutt, may I introduce Miss Cleopatra Pepperday. Miss Pepperday...Mr. Fuzzlebutt..."
"Riding along on a carousel...tryin' to catch up to you..."

It's good to see you around Danielle. I hadn't been here in a few months due to moving. I hope you're all settled in. I love the name.....and what a beautiful puppy!

That's a great photo and he looks like a great dog. He must be a good guy. Because only the best get three names. Lela is also known as Wiggly and The Wiggler.

Great portrait...but... maybe next time, give him time to comb his hair. Speakng of names, I used to have a dog named "Mr. Black"... sort of as in The Reverend...

    Re: Marley S. Fuzzlebutt

    Thanks guys!

"He's" actually a "she" - I know the name throws people off. I was going for Marlee, but I prefered the "y" - now everyone always thinks she's a boy and I've scarred her for life. Good thing I don't have any kids.

I used to just give my pets one name, but then I had a roommate who used to just rename them on me and she liked weird/extravagant names. Which is how I ended up with a cat I call Puppyface.

Lela looks like an awesome dog John! You have a cat right? How do they get along? One of my problems right now is integrating Marley with my 3 fiesty felines.
