    Fishing old school with Waldo

I met Waldo, his son and daughter fishing. Waldo spoke little english. He had a new reel and was struggling to get the line loaded. His son was telling me how Waldo grew up fishing using a can. His daughter provided great entertainment for the trio. After visiting with them I left to shoot some other photos and came back by them on my way to my car. I found the daughter proudly fishing with the new pole and looked over at Waldo. He wound the fishing line around a discarded Gatorade bottle and was doing just fine going "old school".

Good for Waldo! Many modern people would quit fishing if their reel broke or something.
Looks like he's having as good a time as his daughter.

Wonderful story and nice photo essay on Waldo. Thanks for sharing this with us. Love the one of him looking back over his shoulder at you.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
