    Jeff Curto's photography podcasts

Jeff Curto is a professor at a community college outside of Chicago. He has 2 podcasts dealing with photography that I'm sure some here will find very interesting.

One is call Jeff Curtos's Camera Position. These podcasts are pretty short (less than 10 minutes) and he discuses things geared toward fine art photography, and composition. It's interesting and informative no matter what type of gear you shoot with or what type of photography you're interested in.

Jeff's other podcast is called Photo History, and is much longer (1.5 - 3 hours). I have just started this podcast so I can't really tell you much about it yet, other than it is his lectures from the Photo History class that he teaches.

    Re: Jeff Curto's photography podcasts

Thanks for posting this. I'll subscribe to the 10 minute one but I already have one that's an hour or so long, and kind of a commitment to take the time to listen to it. Ten minutes seems like a good length; not too much being thrown at you...

    Re: Jeff Curto's photography podcasts

I hope you find the podcast interesting Steve. I'm in the middle of one of his history podcasts now. I actually prefer longer podcasts.

A couple other photography podcasts that I subscribe to are: The Martin Bailey Photography Podcast, and The Digital Photography Show. They are usually close to an hour each, and come out once/week.

The Martin Bailey show talkes about techniques and gear. Next to Photoshop TV, this is one of my favorites.

The Digital Photography Show is 2 guys sitting around talking about photography, gear and software. It's informative, and they get pretty good guests on the show.
