It's Time For The Annual Geminid Meteor Shower
And it is off to a good start. The wife and I have watched some spectacular fireballs the past two nights. Very bright (brighter than Venus and Jupiter) and 30 to 40 degrees long. It has been bitterly cold in NC, with highs in the mid 30's and lows down to 18 last night. But we have found it to be quite bearable sitting in the hot tub.

I will be photographing it from my deck while I sit in my hot tub. Got to love interval timer shooting!

    I Got Skunked
We've had gorgeous, though cold, weather in NC. Until it was time for the Geminids. Then we got clouds, rain, and even some sleet. Locations around us got snow. Did anyone get any photo's of the Geminids?
