I'm making the switch

After very much deliberation, I have decided to make the switch to Nikon from Canon. I posted something in sports photography a couple months back about this, and some people expressed interest in my gear. If you are one of those few, please PM me again, for I have lost track of who wants what. For those who may be interested, the stuff is

1d body plus charger and a few extra batteries
rebel ti body
zenitar 16mm f/2.8 fisheye
sigma 24-70 f/2.8
canon 50mm f/1.8 II
canon 430ex w/ a broken hotshoe ($15 fix, I just never got around to it)
1.4x II converter

Like I mentioned, just PM me and we can take it from there. No need to clutter up the forum. Thanks everyone.

Let me be the first to welcome you to the Nikon system. I have been shooting with Nikons since 1970 and have been very happy. Glad to add your name to the list of happy Nikon owners, Jeff

wow - when I seen this I had to check the date and make sure it wasn't april 1 .......

Hope you are happy with your decision - I have been happy with Nikon but have never shot canon. Just get Harrison to lend you some equipment for the time being ;)

I'm thinking about switching too...except in the other direction. I probably won't decide until after Photokina, but Canon seems to be more in line with my needs. They're both great. You really can't go wrong.

Congratulations. I switched from Canon; right after I shot my Canon SLR with a 9mm. I took an entire roll and the shutter was not working.:mad:
