    I'm Baaaack!
Hello all. I haven't posted much lately, and I haven't been shooting a lot either. I've been incredibly busy at work, as well as at home.

However, the lovely wife had a conference in Charleston, SC, so I took off Thursday afternoon and Friday and went with her. Friday I dropped her off at her conference and went shooting. Picked her up at lunch, then went and did some more shooting. In two days, I put six rolls of film through the N80, and I had 210 images on the Coolpix 5700/Lexar 512 (after deleting about a dozen).

Here's a shot of the Morris Island Lighthouse. I've wanted to get down there and shoot this for some time now, and Friday evening I got the chance. :-)

Welcome back. I'm guessing this isn't the only shot of you with your wife :D . Sounds like a fun trip - my wife and I spent part of our honeymoon there. Well, at least until Hurricane Fran came to visit...

We arrived about 30 minutes before sunset, just in time for it to cloud up! I didn't let that stop me though, and when I got a break in the clouds, I was shooting. Photography is all about the light, right? :-)

Now if I can only get to Cape Lookout when the light is like this, I'll get some killer images!

I have two images of the two of us together, but this one was by far the better of the two. ;-)

Charleston is a great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. Too many people, too much traffic!

Dawn's mother lives in Charleston, and we stayed with her. She was in her house when Hugo took her roof off! Yes, Charleston is an exciting town...

I am very much alive and well. ;-)

Hey, the Japanese claimed to have sunk the Battleship North Carolina 7 times during World War II - so we North Carolinians are used to early, and unconfirmed reports of our untimely demise. :-O

Glad you liked the shot. ( What, no quip about it being a self-portrait? You must REALLY miss me!)

Great subjects make for great photo's. ;-)

Yes, my lovely wife is my favorite subject, and Lighthouses take second.

Dawn liked this shot so much, she suggested that we take one like this at all the North Carolina Lighthouses. :-)

A woman after my own heart!

Thanks for the comments my friend.

PS - I love your Blue Ridge Shots. I'll comment on them soon.
