i officially love my olympus stylus 710

I've been playing with it for months, and I think I've finally found out how to use it "manually" to my liking. Im not big on presets, and it has a ton.

This is a crop from a larger picture. A little burning (sun washed out some detail).

Here are the details from the camera: (thank god for these- I used to drive myself crazy trying to remember what worked and didn't work- writing it down- with film)

ISO 64 (anything past 200 is disagreeable)
    f 4.3
    no exsposure comp

I've been taking notes on all of the different trial/errors so I can write an actual review of the camera at another time.

Nice picture, Once you start using your camera in manual there's no turning back. There's nothing like having full control.

Isn't it great when things finally just start falling into place with a piece of equipment. It get to be an extension of the eye and you don't have to concentrate so hard on the details and you can seem to see the image so much better. Great picture by the way and I agree they do grow up way to fast.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
