I got stuck...

This morning I was on my way to the post office when I decided to pull off the road at a golf course where I like to photograph Moorhens. Well my windshield was all fogged up and the side windows were as well. To make a long story sort, the ground I thought was flat turned out to be a ditch and I drove headlong into it. I tried to get out, but I only had one of the powered tires on the ground and it was very muddy.

I sat there for 2 hours untill a cop finally stopped, and the then my hero in his huge semi-cab stopped and saved my 80 bucks!

I never even made it to the post office.

getting stuck on the side of the road is never fun. I've put the Taurus in a ditch before, skidding through snow and ice after a rather nasty april winter storm, I had roadside assistance through Ford so they sent a truck to pick me up. But I had a nice man in a jeep offer to, but since the truck was on it's way I turned him down.

I burried my moms Cutlas in a farmers pasture (read swamp) one afternoon while attempting to go fishing. He had to pull me out with his tractor. Only cost me a 12pk of Bud and a little pride. :D

That first shot is neat. Nice idea. And good thing everything went well and no major problems!
