A few weeks ago, I was at a store and I saw some cameras that I really wanted to try out, but I didn't get the chance. I have been waiting ever since to get the chance to go back to that store, and plunk down some of my hard earned cash to give one of those cameras a new home. The store is an hour away so I wasn't going to make a special trip, but today we just happened to go there, so I told my girlfriend that we're stopping to get me a new camera. What type of camera is it you ask? It's a film camera, 35mm. What brand? Um, it's a blue one. They also had black ones, red ones, and yellow ones. Next time I get back there, I might just bring home a pretty yellow one. So where did I pick up this new toy you may be wondering. Well, I got it at the Dollar Tree. You know, one of those stores where EVERYTHING is $1.00. Yup, I got a brand new camera for a dollar.
I picked up a couple rolls of film to go with it too. Two rolls of 24 exposure, ISO 200 film by Konica Minolta for a buck a piece. The camera even has a shoe for a flash, and the old DeJUR flash that came with my AE-1 seems to work with it. Here are some picks of my new toys.
Look out Holga shooters, here I come!!!
