A near miss and finally used a new toy

I thought this was a neat idea to capture the local flora and "hazzards" of riding. I just missed the shot, but thought some might like it. and all can share my "pain".

For those that thought, I've fallen off the earth, I haven't but I've not been shooting nearly enough. I need to find time to get out in good light and take pictures!

I also decided to post a really crappy overly cropped picture. why??? it's the first shot I took using my pocket wizzards! now I just need to learn to use them properly. I thought I didn't work so I scrapped the attempt. only to find out that it worked just fine. had I actually taken more than one, I might have wrangled an in focus picture. oh well.

PocketWizards are cool. Although they sure are junky for what you have to pay. They should at least make them feel more substantial, dontcha think?

Don't worry about learning to use them. It takes a while to see things PocketWizard style. And then you'll go nuts and overuse them

    I used mine yesterday!
