HUGE Bugs... never seen anything like this - Pics!
These were about the size or mice or bigger... maybe even gerbils? 3-4 inches long probably.

To give you a perspective, I was able to catch an ANT as it crawned over the bugs head... that's a regular sized ant, barley on it's eyeball.

Pretty freaky, not a huge fan of bugs, but oh well. I think these might be the Mormon Cricket things that eat the crops... (which are in turn eaten by the California Seagull, hence the Utah state bird being the California Seagull...)

They were alive and moving everywhere... hundreds of them, squashed all over the little road too. They were just living in the marshy area, jumping and swimming and such.

These are at Enterprise lake, about an hour north and 2000 feet UP, heh. It's actually nice up there, in southern utah, anything below 3000 feet is like Death Valley, and once you hit about 5000 feet, its like colorado forests... and when you hit 10,000 feet, why its "the greatest snow (skiiing) on earth".

Literally, you can waterski and snowski in the same day about 4 months out of the year. Its all elevation. Right now it's 106 where I live, and an hour away in Brain Head Ski Resort, its 40 degrees and snowing.
