    Hiking with the Holga
So about a month ago I wanted something light to go shooting with out on the trail. Then I remembered my LONG buried Holga. I had forgotten what a fun little camera these are. I brought it along on a couple hikes before finishing the roll. Was all psyched to developed the roll and then I pulled it out of the tank only to find rectangles! :cryin: Last time I was using it I must have been messing around with the 645 mask :mad2:  :mad2: Oh well, still good fun shots. It has earned a spot in my backpack from now on

    Right On!
Great way to get back into shooting with your Holga!
    Try it square next time.

Nice shots Aaron, maybe Santa Clause will bring me a Holga. The only camera I want but don't have.

Cool shots Aaron. I'd not really thought of it, but the holga would make a great backpacking camera for its simplicity and compactness.

Cool shots, especially the third. I fully support Holgaing while hiking.

Nice, nice, nice. The last two are super lusciously soft and velvety.

Thanks guys :) No worries Brian, the 6x6 mask is back in where it belongs...LOL It's now in my pack with a few extra rolls of HP5+. Brad, it's not quite as compact as most 35mm slr's but, it definitely makes up for it in the weight department! I know you've been looking at "cheap" cameras on Ebay, you should pick up a Holga, should only cost about $30 shipped.

Thanks Aaron. I've looked at the Holgas, but they're not quite my style. I understand their place, but I'm big on image quality, whereas the major point of Holgas is to eschew that aspect. Besides, I've got two 120 cameras now (the Ricohflex TLR and the Zeiss Ikon 515/2 folder), so I'm pretty well covered if I want to shoot film. I probably won't add to that for a while, but you never know what'll pop up on good old eBay...
