I HATE it when this happens!

I was SO stoked about our trip Saturday, thinking of all the good places I could stop to get photos.

The weather forecast said cool and partly sunny.

What we GOT was solid overcast, cold, sleet, freezing rain, and snow all through the daylight hours.

Pffffft. That just means I gotta make another trip. ;)

    Indy Rick,
Know what you mean, I had to freeze at Fortville Park shooting a very quick Easter Egg hunt, then drove to Eastern Hancock only to find out the game was cancelled

yeah...and it was snowing up here about 5PM last night. Of course, it didn't stick, but....sheeesh!

Oh, well, the forecast calls for it to warm up this week! With rain, of course ;)

1/2 inch of rain today is what they are calling for. Heck, my yard is so soaked now it may never dry out. The only time the dogs don't bring mud in the house is when the grounds frozen.

Oh well, gotta go out and see if I can get this Jeep apart...gotta replace a rearend in it.

Yea dud that really suck, but like it was said before at least you got out of home. Take it as a all natural challenge to get good shots?

One of the challenges of photography is being able to make it happen regardless of the conditions. There's always something worth photographing. Getting too locked in to a particular plan or idea is a trap - both in photography and in life

    Gee thanks

Anyone have scuba gear for my dogs? By Saturday we'll be floating the boat in the backyard. I am thoroughly sick of rain! Ever since I moved here we have had nothing BUT rain and it's killing my work now....I'm supposed to be shooting a doubleheader right now but the only ones having fun at the ball fields are the ducks and geese.

I did manage to get the Jeep fixed between the raindrops, but it bites working under the thing in the mud changing rearend gears.
